Two members of London Shootfighters competed at Ultimate Challenge on Saturday June 19th, both fighting well but garnering mixed results. Warren De Reuck made his pro debut in the welterweight division after a recent successful run of fights at amateur and semi pro. Warren faced the more experienced Simon Carrington but showed zero nerves or hesitation, opening up with a cracking liver kick that wobbled his opponent. Warren's opponent tried to take him to the groung but ended up being reversed with Warren raining down strikes that forced the referee to call an end to the fight just 30 secs into round 1.

Simeon Kyurchiev faced the tough Richard Griffin in a K1 bout but despite Simeon knocking his opponent down in the first round and domminating the the fight, the judges inexplicably called a draw. Simeon in his usual good temprament was far more upset at himself for not fighting to his best and not finishing the fight cleanly and is looking forward to his next bout to redeem himself.
